CALA’s committee and constitution change

01 Oct CALA’s committee and constitution change

At CALA’s AGM held on the afternoon of 1 October members approved minor alterations to our constitution which will enable CALA for the first time to accept applications for membership from those with an interest in child abduction resident outside this jurisdiction. Such members will be associate members. In addition CALA’s committee for the next 12 months was elected and we said a fond farewell to our Chair Karan Chadha and our Events Officer Philippa Morgan who both chose to not stand for reelection. They have both provided invaluable service to CALA during its inaugural year.

Details of CALA’s new committee can be found¬†the Officers’ page.

At the end of the autumn lecture news item can we add..the precedent clauses for requests for assistance from the FCO produced by Soarse (please check spelling) during her talk have been added to the legal resources page with the kind permission of the FCO
