MEMBERSHIP
CALA welcomes applications for membership from Judges, solicitors, barristers, academics, legal executives and other non-practising lawyers, internationally and from within the UK.
FORMS OF MEMBERSHIP
CALA has three membership categories:

Full membership
-
Associate membership; and
-
Honorary membership
Full membership is available to :
​
-
solicitors who are Accredited Specialists of Resolution/Law Society Advance Panel member in Child Abduction and is able to produce evidence of their up to date accreditation; and
-
solicitors and other practitioners (barristers, academics or other non-practicing lawyers) who do not have the above mentioned accreditation but are recognised experts within the field of child abduction law and have been nominated by two Full Members of CALA

Associate membership is available to any other legal practitioner who has an interest in child abduction law
HOW TO JOIN

Please remember that if you are applying to become a full member you will need to either submit a copy of your up to date Resolution accreditation/panel membership certificate or arrange for your application for to be countersigned by the two Full Members of CALA (at least one of whom is neither related to nor in the same practice or chambers as the applicant) who are nominating you for membership.
There is a one off joining fee and an annual membership fee which are set out on the application form for membership of CALA.
